What is ICT?
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is an extended term for information technology (IT) which stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computers as well as necessary enterprise software, middle ware, storage, and audio-visual systems, which enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.
What is Blog?
A blog is a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. Really, it’s anything you want it to be. For our purposes we’ll say that a blog is your own website that you are going to update on an ongoing basis. Blog is a short form for the word weblog and the two words are used interchangeably.
What is Social Media?
Social media are computer-mediated technologies that allow the creating and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks. The variety of stand-alone and built-in social media services currently available introduces the challenges of defining. However, there are some common features.

Searching and using in education is one of the ideal applications laid down for information and communication technology. There are five sources over the internet: web search engines, massive online open course (MOOC), employment websites, electronic commerce and research indexing sites.
Research and Information seeking uses different sources on the internet to look up information about a certain topic that the users want to learn. It is an ideal application that is made through the innovation of ICT and the World Wide Web.
Bing is a web search engine owned and operated by Microsoft. The service has its
origins in Microsoft's previous search engines: MSN Search, Windows Live Search and later Live Search. Bing provides a variety of search services, including web, video, image and map search products.
Yahoo! Search is a web search engine owned by
Yahoo. As of February 2015 it is the third largest search engine in the US by the query volume at 12.8%, after its competitors Google at 64.5% and Bing at 19.8%.
Originally, "Yahoo Search" referred to a Yahoo-provided interface that sent queries to a searchable index of pages supplemented with its directory of websites. The results were presented to the user under the Yahoo! brand. Originally, none of the actual web crawling and data housing was done by Yahoo! itself. In 2001, the searchable index was powered by Ink tomi and later was powered by Google until 2004, when Yahoo! Search became independent. On July 29, 2009, Microsoft and Yahoo! announced a deal in which Bing would henceforth power Yahoo! Search.
E-Commerce
E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) is the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet. These business transactions occur either as business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer or consumer-to-business. The terms e-commerce and e-business are often used interchangeably. The term e-tail is also sometimes used in reference to transaction processes for online shopping.
Its sites launched in March 2012, with a business model of selling inventory to customers from its own warehouses. In 2013 it added a marketplace model that allowed third-party retailers to sell their products through Lazada's site; the marketplace accounted for 65% of its sales by the end of 2014.
As of April 2016, Lazada is majority-owned by Alibaba Group.

Employment Sites
An employment website is a website that deals specifically with employment or careers. Many employment websites are designed to allow employers to post job requirements for a position to be filled and are commonly known as job boards.
Glassdoor is a website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management.
LinkedIn is a business and employment-oriented social networking service that operates via websites. Founded on December 28, 2002, and launched on May 5, 2003, it is mainly used for professional networking, including employers posting jobs and job seekers posting their CVs.

Online Course
A massive open online course (MOOC) is a free Web-based distance learning program that is designed for the participation of large numbers of geographically dispersed students. A MOOC may be patterned on a college or university course or may be less structured.

Coursera is a venture-backed, for-profit, educational technology company that offers massive open online courses (MOOCs). mathematics, business, computer science, digital marketing, and data science, among others.
Research Indexing Sites
These are websites that are often called as an online library. It is used to collect information broadly about scholarly literature. It is a website designed to allow users to search across many disciplines and sources like articles, thesis, books, abstracts and court opinions.
Google Books (previously known as Google Book Search and Google Print) is a service from Google Inc. that searches the full text of books and magazines that Google has scanned, converted to text using optical character recognition (OCR), and stored in its digital database. Books are provided either by publishers and authors, through the Google Books Partner Program, or by Google's library partners, through the Library Project. Additionally, Google has partnered with a number of magazine publishers to digitize their archives.
The World Digital Library (WDL) is an international digital library operated by UNESCO and the United States Library of Congress.
